Overview

Lester Building Systems, LLC a leader in the pre-engineered wood frame and post-frame building industry, seeks a results oriented Territory Sales Manager.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for our direct material-labor and material-only sales to contractors and end-users in East St. Paul/North Western WI.  The territory is the East Metro, then East of the Twin Cities to Eau Claire, North to Lake Superior. 

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for selling our full-line of commercial, equine, suburban and agricultural buildings, which involves daily face-to-face meetings with potential customers.  Sales leads are typically provided via marketing/advertising.  Sales include responding to past customers for work quotes on repairs and additions.  This role also includes developing relationships with local architects and designers to promote Lester and post-frame construction methods and promote new Lester products.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Face-to-face follow-up on sales leads.
  • Ability to work independently and be the primary representative in the territory.
  • Good computer aptitude and the ability to learn Lester’s pricing software.
  • Develop a good strong working partnership with Lester’s internal resources, management team and subcontractors.
  • Ability to partner effectively and provide assistance to team members on sales opportunities.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction, CAD or a related field.  A degree is preferred but not required.  Applicable work or industry experience is beneficial. 

 

Previous outside sales experience is required.  Construction sales and/or post-frame building experience is preferred.  Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.  Demonstrated experience in having good attention to detail, project management skills and being a self-starter.
